Engagement Terms
This Engagement Letter and Client Portal Agreement (the Agreement) sets forth the entire understanding between H Ambrose Tax Consulting and the client regarding the scope of tax advisory and preparation services. By engaging our firm, you acknowledge that all services are performed based on the information provided by you, and you represent that such information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We will provide professional tax consulting services in accordance with applicable professional standards and circulars.
Engagement Letter and Scope
The scope of our engagement is limited to the specific tax years and forms agreed upon during the intake process. H Ambrose Tax Consulting will not audit or otherwise verify the data you submit, although we may ask for clarification. It is your responsibility to maintain the documentation necessary to support the data used in your tax returns. You possess the final responsibility for the income tax returns; therefore, you should review them carefully before you sign and file them. Our services do not include any procedures designed to discover defalcations or other irregularities, should any exist.
Fees for our services are based upon the complexity of the work performed and the time required to complete the engagement. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice or prior to the electronic filing of any tax returns. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith mediation before pursuing other legal remedies.
Client Portal Agreement
To facilitate efficient communication and document transfer, H Ambrose Tax Consulting provides access to a secure Client Portal. Your use of this portal is subject to the following terms: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. The portal is intended for the secure exchange of sensitive tax documents and professional correspondence. While we employ industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data, H Ambrose Tax Consulting cannot guarantee absolute security against all cyber threats. By using the portal, you consent to electronic communication and document delivery, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
